It's been a pleasure working with you and your team as well. I'm sure you as well as myself would have liked a better outcome, but a win is a win. I want to thank you very much for your representation. The time your team spent in making multiple calls and their personal concern in my case made the process much more tolerable and was much appreciated. I would also like to let know how much Emily's professional and personal concerns were a blessing. One does not normally receive the attention and care showed to me by a legal professional. Once again thank you very much and I wish you all the best in your future cases. I would not hesitate to refer you to others if they should be in need of representation.

I suffered a medical negligence event following a routine surgery at my local VA hospital. I suffered for years from this event, thinking I had no recourse, until I discovered Rawls, McNelis and Mitchell (RawlsMcNelis) during an online search. I reached out to them with less than 7 days before the statute of limitations for the incident lapsed. They believed in me and my story and encouraged me to submit supporting documents so they could file a claim in a timely manner. Over the next few years the VA continued to deny responsibility and each time we refused to take no for an answer. My case took several years, but we continued to challenge their denial of responsibility. It took many years, many hours of work by all of us, but all of our hard work paid off and we were finally able to reach a settlement. I served my country for over 20 years as a Marine, I gave it my all, and I feel that my team at Rawls, McNelis and Mitchell did the same for me.

I had the privilege of using Rawls McNelis + Mitchell (RawlsMcNelis) in handling my case against the Veterans Administration. I got in touch with them and they came to Arizona to go over my case. The firm won my case to my satisfaction. I am a Service Officer for the VFW and would recommend this firm to any Veteran.

I felt like I had no chance filing a claim against the United States Government. It was a big relief knowing that Rawls McNelis + Mitchell (RawlsMcNelis) was on my side. I put my trust in them and they came through for me.

Brewster Rawls, and his team, are consummate professionals and compassionate people. They really listened to my needs, understood my goals, and offered insightful counsel every step of the way. I came to Rawls-McNelis (RawlsMcNelis) feeling broken, devalued, frustrated, ignored, and alone. The team at Rawls-McNelis (RawlsMcNelis) demanded that my voice was heard by those that wronged me, expertly argued that my loss mattered, and stood by me until I felt whole again. I am eternally grateful for their support through a difficult period in my life. Their successful efforts have assured a better future for myself and my family.

I needed to find an attorney to handle my late husband’s wrongful death case against the VA. I could not find any local attorneys in California to help me so I started searching on the internet and found RawlsMcNelis – and I am so very happy that they handled the matter for me. Everyone I dealt with at the firm was friendly, compassionate, professional and extremely prompt, from emails to phone calls. I would highly recommend this firm if you need help with any medical malpractice matters pertaining to the VA or military medical centers. They will keep you informed throughout the entire process and get the job done. I could not have found a better firm to handle my case and get the settlement done in such a timely matter.

Like many I have had my ups and downs in life, however from the summer of 2013 until the end of 2015 life was a nightmare. I’m a veteran, and unfortunately one of the forgotten ones that was denied and delayed health care that was so critically needed. I would eventually get that care but not before several life threatening conditions would change me forever. About a year after this all began I was approached by a law firm who believed my case was one worth pursuing. They did in fact start a case but due to the untimely death of an associate the lead partner of the original law firm approached RawlsMcNelis about my case, who in turn agreed to represent me. From there I was placed into the very capable hands of Glen Sturtevant and their group of professional legal assistants. After my first voice conference with Glen I knew I was in good hands. No matter how gloom it may have looked from time to time he never wavered in his stance against the VA and their attorneys. Throughout the time Glen and his force of capable assistants had my case I knew I would eventually rise above the brackish waters of VA wrong doings. Before the year end of 2015 and only a few short months in their hands I received that call for a settlement that was worth consideration. We were able to settle and was compensated within a reasonable time frame as well. My continued thanks to RawlsMcNelis for taking my case and especially to Glen Sturtevant, Carlyn, Mariah and all those behind the scenes that worked so hard in my favor. If you’ve been wronged, please do not hesitate calling these people. You will not regret it.

Being a Veteran myself, involved with many Veteran web sites and groups, I watched for years as Veterans dealt with the Veterans Administration on claims. Some have been fighting for their benefits for decades. When my husband, an Iraq war Veteran, was placed on a waiting list and later died as a result of the delay, I knew I could not handle the process. He was 50 years young with three children at the time of his death, the youngest child only 14. I was dealing with his passing and the kid’s trauma over losing their father. I had lost my soulmate. My anger was beyond management. Knowing my anguish over his preventable death would be a hindrance to the claims process, I knew I needed assistance. What I found was Rawls McNelis + Mitchell (RawlsMcNelis). I drug my feet a bit with the paperwork while helping the kids through the grief and pulling myself together. But, the paperwork was really not cumbersome thanks to the firm. In total, once I pulled myself together, it was less than a year to resolution. I was also granted 3x the compensation than an organization which assists Veterans with claims told me the VA would pay out on the claim. I expected to see all kinds of excess incidental fees aside from the 20% legal fee charge a law firm can collect on a VA claim. I was wrong. The incidental fees were minimal. The attorneys, the office staff and the other legal professionals kept me informed throughout the whole process. If I had a question, it was answered within a day by email. My advice to those dealing with the government, in this case the VA, is to seek help. Let the professionals handle it. Take the time you would spend dealing with VA paperwork and help your family heal while someone else handles the red tape. Life goes on. Likely time doesn’t heal all wounds. Neither does money. However, as my children start to head off to schools and start their adult lives, I cannot thank the firm enough.

After suffering the loss of my son due to medical negligence from a military hospital I came across Mr. Rawls and his team, they immediately took action on mine and my sons behalf. They flew to my home to meet with me and discuss my case in person. They always kept me aware of what steps or course of action was being taken on my behalf. Ms. Procopio worked diligently and always answered questions and got back to me in a very timely manner. My case took several years but it was settled very fairly and justice was served for my son and I. I highly recommend this firm to anyone seeking proper justice for themselves or loved ones.
