Veterans Denied Benefits for Vaccine Injuries

Vaccines do a great job of eradicating and preventing previously untreatable and sometimes fatal diseases.  In rare cases, however, vaccines themselves can cause devastating injuries and side effects.

Typical vaccine-related injuries include shoulder injuries (SIRVA), Guillain-Barre Syndrome, anaphylactic shock, and a number of others.  You can find a list of vaccine-related injuries here: http://vaccinationinjury.com/

Thankfully, when vaccines do cause an injury, there is a national vaccine fund to recover compensation.  The problem, though, is that not every vaccine and not every injury is eligible under the federal vaccine compensation fund.

Sadly, in some cases like the story linked to below, veterans who were required to receive certain vaccines and then suffered an injury can be out of luck.
