Thanks to a VA whistleblower it has come to light that the VA had been moving forward to deny thousands of veterans’ pending healthcare applications that the VA considered to be incomplete. The problem is that in many cases the VA had failed to inform veterans that their applications were incomplete and that additional information was needed to complete the applications.
This comes on the heels of other recent incidents in which the VA has mismanaged similar healthcare applications and where VA officials were instructed to refuse help to VA hospitals in helping veterans get medical care through the VA.
Thanks to this whistleblower the VA now says that they are not moving forward with the healthcare application dump—at least for now.
